About me
Hi! I'm Sohyun Kim, a first-gen product designer based in New York, currently at the New York Times. I strive to design delightful digital experiences for people of all backgrounds.
Outside of design, I help run my family’s restaurant, which I helped my parents launch. From managing daily operations, finances, and inventory to training staff, planning menus, cleaning, prepping, and cooking, it’s been a rewarding way to stay connected to my family and the Evanston community.
When I’m not designing or working at the restaurant, you’ll find me behind a camera, baking sweets, or hanging out with my two dogs, Saja and Jinsol. Take a look at my resume here.
